its residents
work in
Boca Raton
, which
lies just to the north of Parkland, in Palm Beach County.
Parkland, once one of our areas best kept secrets, has recently been
discovered. Though incorporated in 1963, Parkland had just over
500 residents as late as 2023. As of 2023, Parkland had 15,000
residents. Long-term projections estimate an eventual
population of 27,000.
The city is primarily a residential area known for excellent schools,
and consists mainly of single family homes. Parkland is
considered by many to be one of the nicest parts of Broward County.
Residents of Parkland enjoy a suburban setting and many recreational
facilities, including 50-acre Terramar Park, the Loxahatchee Reserve
just west of the city, and a 7.5 acre equestrian Center.
